Stay at Hotel Greystone on Collins Avenue and 20th Street if you are looking for a hideaway from all the craziness during Art Basel Miami. It is at walking distance to the fair and all the good restaurants around. In fact, you don't even have to leave the hotel to have one of the best dining experiences Miami Beach has to offer, prepared by Food network "Chopped" champion Chef Pawan Pinisetti who resides at the Hotel Greystone's signature restaurant Sérêvène, where French rotisserie traditions meet Japanese izakaya.
When we had dinner at this cool restaurant, we ordered about everything on the menu. Since I am a vegetarian, my family is not and this makes sharing fun for the whole table. The dishes are set up to be shared with the table and this makes a great evening filled experience. When you love a plate, you can order more, and Chef de Cuisine Michael Dunston makes sure you have the perfect amount of time in between plates. You can sit a whole night or you can be out in an hour, its up to you but one thing is sure: you will come back for more.
The Hotel is located on Collins Avenue and 20th Street in a beautiful Art Deco building and has a roof top swimming pool. The beach is across the street.
The rooms are crisp and calming and we loved seeing HKliving USA basket lights being implemented in the beautiful suites design.
There are freshly baked croissants and really good coffee served every morning in the courtyard and and if you want to work out, day passes to Gymage Miami are provided.
If you want the ultimate Miami Beach experience, I would totally recommend Hotel Greystone! Cheers, Petra
