Native to Madagascar, Hypolimnas Dexithea - also known as the Madagascar diadem, or the Gladiator, is admired for its large size and bold wing patterning. The female, notably more vibrant than the male, features striking orange and white markings over a deep brown to black background, creating a dramatic contrast. Mounted in a 6 x 6 x 2 inch acrylic shadow box, this specimen captures the commanding elegance and rarity of one of the island’s most iconic butterflies.
