The original 1012 Bulls now come in two unique glazes developed through the collab of the creative minds of Otto Keramik and HKLIVING. Otto Gerharz Jr. brings a fresh, innovative perspective to his family legacy, honoring his father's craftsmanship while adding a new touch. Together, we continue the tradition of excellence established by Otto Gerharz Sr. The goal: to maintain the iconic design while offering a vibrant, complementary glaze.

Otto Gerharz Jr., the creative force behind Otto Keramik, continues the legacy of his father, Otto Gerharz Sr., who founded the company in 1964 in Rheinbach, Germany. The elder Gerharz was renowned for crafting the original molds for the bulls, establishing a tradition of excellence. In 1994, Otto Gerharz Jr. assumed leadership of production, infusing the family legacy with a fresh perspective and innovative approach. The goal of this collaboration was to preserve the unmistakable design of Otto Gerharz while introducing a striking glaze that complements the vibrant HKLIVING collection.
