Zig Zag on the Paria

Ken Requard is an American impressionist painter based in Florida, whose expressive oil paintings capture the remarkable light and landscapes of Arizona and the American Southwest. Drawing on his years in the Sonoran Desert, he combines carefully considered compositions with rich color, layered brushwork, and a strong sense of atmosphere. His paintings invite the viewer to experience the landscape beyond its physical appearance, revealing the beauty of a fleeting moment through light, shadow, and color.
